More Catch-up ... Haliburton School of Art and Design
In July, I spent a week at Haliburton School of Art and Design. I took a class taught by my friend, Elaine Quehl. She is an awesome teacher, and she let me do a bit of 'extra' work. I came home with 45 metres of dyed fabric ... :-)
Wow! Great job! I love those rich colors. I dye too, but my colors look a lot duller due to the water quality we have here (lots of calcium in there). I think I should try to collect rain water for dyeing.
Some very Jackson Pollock pieces there! Great work. I didn't know Haliburton had a fabric arts program.
